The architecture of the chip includes the continuous phase modem (CPM), the spread spectrum modem (SSM), up/low frequency converter, and CPU. The up/low frequency converters accomplish mutual conversion, and sampling rate switch on sample on baseband. CPM accomplishes modulating and demodulating signal in continuous phase, and SSM accomplishes modulating and demodulating signal in spread spectrum. Other modules in CPU control chip are in use being as platform of running network protocol, and in use for executing function of interaction with external data and control command. Using configurable reconstructed functional modules and using format of transmission frame of head capable of transferring modulation mode and transmission rate, the chip system realizes function of hand held walkie-talkie in multimode.
