摘要:
The present disclosure relates to a system and method for predicting badminton match outcome. The system in the present disclosure comprises: a data collection unit; a data processing unit; a feature selection unit; and a prediction model. The objective of the present disclosure is to present distinct machine learning models to analyse the complex data of various badminton tournaments from the year 2016 till 2019 for the prediction of badminton match outcome. In this disclosure, three types of machine learning models NB-CBFW, CHIRP and Hyper Pipes are proposed to predict the outcome of Australian Open 2019, Malaysian Open 2019, German Open 2019 and Singapore Open 2019 Badminton tournaments. The result prediction performance was measured in terms of accuracy, RMSE, TPR, TNR, PPV, NPV and ROC. Sixteen test datasets were analysed for result prediction.
